The current Vekt application

The Vekt application does not add advertising pixels or marketing cookies. To help you continue an unfinished enquiry, draft answers and selected files are stored in this browser using IndexedDB for up to 24 hours, and removed after successful submission. The brief assistant uses an essential, HTTP-only session cookie lasting 30 minutes to limit requests and prevent abuse. Clearing this site’s browser data removes an unsent draft.

Submitted enquiries and files are saved with the service, rather than in a browser cookie. The privacy policy explains their use and retention.

Optional site analytics

On the public pages we ask before any analytics runs, and declining is as easy as accepting. Until you choose, nothing is measured and nothing is stored. Private workspace browsing and the sign-in provider’s pages are not measured. With analytics consent, brief completion and fixed error categories can continue through the sign-in hand-off.

If you accept, our analytics provider, PostHog, keeps a random visitor identifier and session details in your browser’s local storage (keys beginning ph_), so visits can be linked over time. It sets no cookies. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the visit is counted without storing anything on your device: the server derives a one-day identifier from a hash of your IP address and browser details with a salt that changes daily.

If you accept analytics, Vekt also stores a random session identifier in sessionStorage (vekt_analytics_session) for up to 30 minutes. The studio dashboard counts public page views and brief milestones, including whether that session submitted a brief. Anonymous session records are retained for 90 days. These event records contain no names, message text, uploaded files or private workspace browsing, and no session recordings. They include selected service categories, example-video engagement, fixed error categories and brief stages, including return from sign-in. Source, medium and campaign labels (restricted to short letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores) and the public landing page may be retained with a submitted enquiry and linked internally to recorded payments to measure acquisition. These business-record source snapshots are retained with the enquiry; they are not sent with client identity or payment details to PostHog. This first-party tracking stops when you decline or enable a recognised privacy signal.

Your choice itself is remembered in local storage under analytics_consent, so we do not ask again. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of each page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Sign-in and hosting

The hosting and sign-in platform may use session and security technologies to provide account access and protect the service. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, but doing so can interrupt sign-in or access to private project files.

A final inventory of the deployed platform’s cookie names, providers, purposes and lifetimes must be confirmed before public launch. This notice does not claim that the underlying platform is entirely cookie-free.

Fonts, links and media

Fonts, demonstration images and videos are served from this site. The website does not request fonts from Google Fonts or embed social-media video players.

WhatsApp is opened only when you choose a WhatsApp link or submit the enquiry that continues there. Its own storage and privacy rules then apply. The client sign-in provider likewise has its own terms for the account service.

If this changes

If Vekt changes its analytics or introduces advertising or other tracking, this notice and the related privacy information will be updated first. Any required choice or consent mechanism will be in place before that technology is activated.
